Our hardware is heavy solid brass and rustproof.

Leashes are 6' long. Handles are joined to the leash by a brass square so that you can clip the snap to it if you want to wear it over your shoulder (so that you don't have to carry it if your dog is off-leash).  

Biothane is a very strong, flexible, waterproof, fade-resistant, stink-proof and easy-to-clean material that has been used for years to make horse halters, bridles and reins. Although it isn't reflective it is more visible on the road or a trail than leather or nylon and unlike other materials the colors remain vibrant. It is taking the US by storm.
